Beach House – Once Twice Melody

Dream pop duo Beach House has released their eighth studio album, entitled “Once Twice Melody”. The four chapters of the 18-track LP have been published gradually between November 2021 and February 2022. The full album is extraordinary in its length and remarkably consistent in its sound. However, the consistency in the music is also the weak point of this record – the mellow tunes of “Once Twice Melody” get boring after the first chapter. There’s just not enough variety to keep the listener’s attention throughout the complete album. Beach House, consisting of French-American lead singer and keyboardist Victoria Legrand and American guitarist Alex Scally, are currently touring the US, followed by the European leg of their tour and more North American shows in the coming months.
