Country singer Carly Pearce has released her self-titled sophomore album. The 29-year-old breakout star from Kentucky confesses that the central theme of her Valentine’s Day release is love and that this record is a tribute to her journey of falling for fellow country singer and now husband Michael Ray who is featured on the duet “Finish Your Sentences”. Songs like “Heart’s Going Out Of Its Mind” and “Lightning In A Bottle” are the mountain peak tracks of love. But Pearce also captures the valley points with the Lee Brice assisted “I Hope You’re Happy Now” and other songs like “Halfway Home” and “Greener Grass”. “Dashboard Jesus” is a springboard to dreaming big and stepping out unafraid knowing full well “It Won’t Always Be Like This” which is the title of another song on her 13-track album.
