A Tribe Called Quest have released their sixth and final album, entitled “We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service”. It has been 18 years since the groundbreaking hip-hop group released their last studio LP and 26 years since their debut record. ATCQ was formed in 1985 by Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Jarobi White, successfully pioneering new sounds in hip-hop with playful lyrics addressing social issues in a lighthearted way. The new album, with guest appearances by Busta Rhymes, Elton John, Andre 3000, Kendrick Lamar, and more, is a brilliant finale, rounding off the amazing history of this group, and even though Phife Dawg passed away earlier this year, he was able to make his contribution to this album before his death.
