Chris Stapleton is about to release his first solo album entitled “Traveller”. The 37-year-old country and rock musician was born in Lexington, Kentucky, and moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2001 to focus on songwriting. He has penned successful songs for Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Darius Rucker, and many more. Chris Stapleton also fronted the bluegrass band The SteelDrivers for two and a half years before starting his own rock band, The Jompson Brothers. Both bands released critically acclaimed records with Stapleton’s croaking vocals that suit this type of music perfectly and give it a special characteristic. With an excellent solo debut that fuses rock and country music, he is destined for even bigger success. For more info, including tour dates, go to chrisstapleton.com
