Lil John Roberts – The Heartbeat

Accomplished drummer Lil John Roberts has released his debut album today. ‘The Heartbeat’ is a record full of surprises due to his diverse musical background and the variety of guest artists. The album features soul music icons like Eric Roberson and Musiq Soulchild, jazz greats like Robert Glasper and Nicholas Payton, hip-hop artists like Sa-Roc and Kev Choice, and spoken word poet Ursula Rucker.
