Courtney Barnett – Things Take Time, Take Time

Australia’s Courtney Barnett has released her third solo studio album, “Things Take Time, Take Time”. Since her acclaimed 2015 debut, “Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit”, Barnett is widely known for her deadpan style of singing with deliberate lack of emotion despite the wittiness of her rambling lyrics. The Sydney-born and Melbourne-based musician frankly intertwines commentary on serious issues and banalities in a seemingly pitiless manner. In addition to her new album, Barnett has recorded a really cute no-frills video for “Write A List Of Things To Look Forward To”, the third single from the ten-track record. The 34-year-old indie rock artist will start her North American tour later this month, followed by an Australian tour in March of 2022.
