Michael Patrick Kelly – B.O.A.T.S
Irish-American singer and songwriter Michael Patrick Kelly has published his fifth solo studio album, entitled “B.O.A.T.S”. The Germany-based musician rose to fame in Europe as a member of The Kelly Family in the 90s when he was popularly known as Paddy. The Kelly Family’s mega hit “An Angel”, was written by him as a teenager, featuring his lead vocals together with youngest brother Angelo Kelly. Following the immense success of the family band, Kelly left the music business shortly after his first solo LP was released in 2003. He returned in 2015 with his sophomore album and two more LPs in subsequent years. At age 43, he’s releasing his most ambitious solo project with “B.O.A.T.S”, an acronym for Based On A True Story which reflects his approach to writing songs like “Icon” and “Mother’s Day”.
