Jack Savoretti – Europiana
Today marks the release of British singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti’s seventh studio album, entitled “Europiana”. This eleven-track LP is the follow-up to his first UK number one record, “Singing To Strangers”, which earned him the Album Of The Year Award at the Pop Awards 2020. For “Europiana”, the 37-year-old artist has written songs of love and longing that bring back the spirit and emotions of summers spent growing up in the Italian-speaking south of Switzerland and other European places. Produced by Cam Blackwood and recorded at London’s famed Abbey Road Studios, the album includes funky pop songs like the lead single “Who’s Hurting Who” featuring Nile Rodgers and nostalgic tracks like “I Remember Us” and “The Way You Said Goodbye”, complete with opulent piano and string arrangements and of course Savoretti’s crooning vocals.
