Brett Eldredge – Sunday Drive
Country singer Brett Eldredge has released his fifth studio album, “Sunday Drive”. The new record comes three years after his self-titled project which featured a starkly different Brett. After a purposed withdrawal from social media and a calculated retreat from sophisticated technology, the 34-year-old artist from Illinois now focuses on exploring his identity as a man and musician through daily meditation, resulting in a deeply introspective and insightful album. On “Sunday Drive”, produced by Grammy-winning duo Ian Fitchuk and Daniel Tashian, Brett Eldredge tells a captivating tale of love, life and death in a charmingly stripped-back and intimate fashion. Acoustic melodies resonate on the opening track “Where The Heart Is”, followed by the simplistically beautiful “The One You Need” which echoes the call to be strong for someone else, now that you’ve been strong for yourself. The hope of love rings through on “Fall For Me” and on the record’s lead single, “Gabrielle”. The title-track is as poignant and nostalgic a song as they come, adding another artful installation to a masterfully developed collection. For more info go to bretteldredge.com
