Lou Asril – Louasril

Austrian R&B singer Lou Asril has released his debut EP, “Louasril”. The six-track collection was published on Asril’s birthday which marked the rising star’s entrance into his twenties. Described as a whiz kid, Lou is a trained classical pianist and a dynamic vocalist with a sound beyond his years. Though he was surrounded by classical and folk music growing up, Lou gravitated to African-American R&B. “Louasril” is a bold statement to banner the start of his career. The opening track, his 2019 single “Divine Goldmine”, is a delightful introduction to everything Lou Asril has to offer, from unassuming sultry notes to the uninhibited spike of brazen falsettos. The groove picks up tempo in “Safe And Complete” and settles in an almost textbook R&B fashion in “Som Som”. “Friek” is a prideful nod to Asril’s individuality and uniqueness as a singer and a person, things his growing fan base will undoubtedly come to discover.
