“Love Is A Battlefield”, 13th studio album by soul and smooth jazz singer Maysa, is out now. The 50-year-old artist, a resident of Baltimore, Maryland, became the lead singer of British band Incognito in the early 90s and made her solo recording debut in 1995. For “Love Is A Battlefield” Maysa has covered her favorite songs, performed with her own soulful twist, like the title track which is a smoothed-out rendition of Pat Benatar’s classic hit from the 80s.
