Angie Stone – Dream

“Dream”, the seventh LP by singer and songwriter Angie Stone, is out now. The 53-year-old artist, who got her 36-year career going in 1979 with female hip-hop trio The Sequence, was most successful with her first two solo records, “Black Diamond” (1999) and “Mahogany Soul” (2001). While these soul music gems are not matched by her new album, “Dream” is a solid effort by Angie Stone, featuring ten tracks including standout songs like “Magnet”, the lead single “2 Bad Habits”, and “Begin Again”, a duet with Dave Hollister.
